Midlothian family business

Finding new opportunities

Question: What do you do when 98% of your business comes from one client? Answer: Hire Designate to help you diversify.

We were approached by this Midlothian Company to help them take their service across Scotland. The Full Monty, we were asked to do a complete overhaul of their existing setup, including re-branding, a new website, print campaigns and PR campaigns. Along the way, we've gotten to know every nook and cranny of their business, and are continually spotting new ideas for the future.

2008 will be a big year for them.. check back to see how we're getting on.

What we're doing

Analysis, Strategy

With such a big project, it's important that we get to know every part of the business and their marketplace. We did a thorough analysis of all areas of their business, identifying new markets and new opportunities.

Website

Websites can be so much more than just online brochures. We're in the process of developing a new website that will process payments, have a secure client login area and give clients direct access to their files.

Brochure

We wanted to differentiate our clients from their competitors. Highlighting the benefits to their dedicated service, we produced a brochure focused on their convenience and practicality.

Re-brand

With 60 years of tradition, we knew we needed to develop a brand that would keep the credibility of the old whilst infusing it with a fresh, welcoming, look. We did it, and we're busy applying it to everything from staff shirts to business cards, building signs to mailing labels - everything that represents the company.

Direct Mail Campaigns

This is the fun part for us, the creative bit where we let our imaginations flow. We've developed three new campaigns for 2008, directly targeting their new markets.

PR Campaign

The best business in the world won't make a pound if people don't know about it. We arranged for a full-page feature in the Scotsman to raise their profile in the area.
