The Client: A new online community for Sports

Location: Scotland

Background:
As a newly established company in the early product development stages, our client lacked a marketing strategy and the expertise to bring their product to market, generate users and to develop profitable income streams. They also didn’t have resources to manage and execute their marketing activities. They needed a team that could help them commercialise their idea, and they looked to us for help.

What We Did :
The first step was to roll up our sleeves and create a marketing strategy that would make the project into a successful commercial reality. We worked with the client to develop over ten new income streams to the business, and we identified several new routes to generating a high volume of users for the web site.

Having proven our value, we were asked to increase our involvement and help develop the second version of the site, working closely with the technical team to produce a product that the market would want. During this time we continued to work on a monthly basis - leading all marketing initiatives and tracking results.

The Result :
A year (and counting) later, the company is in a strong position. Our strategy has produced tangible relationships with our key demographics and, with these successes, the client is negotiating their final round of funding to take the project global. It’s been a lot of fun, and we’re looking forward to stepping up the game for the next several years.
